Julie Cantournet's career

She began in hospital and in team management before narrowing her practice to women's health. It is that double experience — running a department, then specialised practice — that explains the way she teaches: protocols that hold up in the clinic, not only on paper.

  2. 2013 to 2020 · Employed practice

In charge of the allied health section of the health centre, the site's lead for musculoskeletal disorder prevention, and an instructor in safe handling and posture.

Guest lecturer on the STAPS sports science degree

    Université Paris-Saclay, in Orsay.

  4. Since 2021 · Clinical

Owner of her practice, working exclusively in women's health

  5. Since 2022 · Teaching

Founder of an online training provider

Who is Julie Cantournet?

Julie Cantournet is a state-registered physiotherapist who qualified in 2013 at the top of her year. After seven years in a rehabilitation and follow-up care centre, several of them as head of department, she opened her practice in Essonne in 2021, dedicated exclusively to women's health.

Which courses does she teach at Physio Learning?

Two on-site courses: the management of prolapse and the basics of postnatal rehabilitation. Duration, programme and price are given on each course page.

Do you need to practise pelvic floor rehabilitation already to take her courses?

Prerequisites are given on each course page. Both sessions are built for physiotherapists who want to structure their assessment and their reasoning in pelvic health, and our other courses in this field are gathered on the pelvic floor rehabilitation page.

What subjects does she speak on at conferences?

On the link between the pelvic floor and the rest of the body — her talk at the CREIL congress was on the place of the pelvic floor in musculoskeletal and respiratory rehabilitation — and on the physiotherapist's role in endometriosis, which she argued for at Rééduca.
