In brief: the DPC for physiotherapists in July 2026

In 2026, a self-employed physiotherapist working under the French national health insurance agreement is entitled to 14 hours of funded DPC training a year, with an allowance of 38 €/h for on-site courses or virtual classrooms (2026 ANDPC scale). Physio Learning, a DPC training provider registered under no. 99GX and Qualiopi certified, offers 25 DPC-eligible courses on-site and online (July 2026). Enrolment takes place on mondpc.fr, using the action number shown on each course page.

Your entitlements

The DPC in 2026:
what you need to know

Three-yearly obligation

2 actions, 2 types, 3 years

Over each three-year period: the current one runs from 2026 to 2028: every physiotherapist must complete a pathway combining continuing education, assessment of professional practice (EPP) and/or risk management: at least two actions of two different types. Compliance is checked by the Ordre, the French professional regulator.

Funding

14 hours a year

The ANDPC funds 14 hours of DPC a year for self-employed physiotherapists working under the national health insurance agreement and for employees of contracted health centres. Course fees are paid directly to the training provider: you pay nothing upfront.

Allowance

38 €/h on-site

For on-site courses or virtual classrooms you receive 38 € an hour to offset lost practice income: up to 532 € a year (14 h × 38 €). Online, continuing education carries no allowance; EPP does, at 19 €/h.

Official sources: 2026 funding rates for physiotherapists (ANDPC, PDF) and the DPC in practice (agencedpc.fr). The 2023-2025 national priorities have been extended: published actions remain valid until 31 December 2027.
Practising in Switzerland? Our courses are open to you. There is no funding scheme equivalent to the DPC or the FIFPL: enrolment is self-funded.

Why Physio Learning

DPC training, without
compromising on scientific rigour

A DPC action is only worth taking if it genuinely changes your practice. At Physio Learning, a training provider founded in 2021 in Marseille by healthcare professionals, every course is built on the current evidence and taught by leading clinicians: including international names such as Adam Meakins (shoulder), rarely available in French. The result in July 2026: 7,354 physiotherapists enrolled, an average rating of 4.82/5 across 1,677 reviews and a 98.3% recommendation rate. The same standard runs through our open-access clinical summaries, such as those on non-specific low back pain and non-specific neck pain. For an overview of our approach, see our physiotherapy courses page.

Beyond the DPC

Combining DPC, FIFPL
and direct purchase

Used up your 14 DPC hours, or not eligible for them? Two other funding routes are open to you.

FIFPL

The self-employed practitioner’s backup

In 2026 the FIFPL, the French training fund for self-employed professionals, covers up to 900 € a year and 300 € a day for self-employed physiotherapists (ceilings halved for e-learning), provided the training provider is Qualiopi certified, which we are. It can be combined with the DPC in the same year, but the same training day cannot be funded twice. The application is filed online no later than 10 calendar days after the 1st day of the course (2026 FIFPL criteria, service-public.fr).

Direct purchase

Simple and immediate

Not covered by the national health insurance agreement, salaried, or ceilings already reached? Direct enrolment remains open on all our courses: no paperwork, immediate access for e-learning, and the cost is deductible as a professional expense for self-employed practitioners. The direct-purchase price is shown on every course page in the catalogue.

FAQ

The DPC
in questions

What is the three-yearly DPC obligation for a physiotherapist?

Over each three-year period (the current one: 2026-2028), every physiotherapist must complete a pathway combining continuing education, assessment of professional practice and/or risk management, at least two actions of two different types. Compliance is checked by the Ordre des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes, the French professional regulator.

How many DPC hours can a physiotherapist have funded in 2026?

14 hours a year, under the 2026 scale published by the ANDPC. Course fees are paid directly to the training provider, and a self-employed physiotherapist working under the national health insurance agreement also receives an allowance of 38 €/h for on-site courses or virtual classrooms.

Does a DPC e-learning course carry an allowance?

The course fees are funded, but continuing education delivered online gives no entitlement to the allowance in 2026. One exception: EPP and risk management delivered remotely are compensated at 19 €/h, as is the case for our EPP actions on low back pain screening and neck pain screening.

How do I enrol on a Physio Learning DPC course?

Create your account on mondpc.fr with your RPPS number, search for the action number (ref. 99GX…) shown on the page of your chosen course, then register for the session. We confirm the enrolment and the ANDPC pays the course fees directly.

Can DPC and FIFPL be combined in the same year?

Yes: the two budgets are independent of each other. However, the same training day cannot be funded twice: the days covered by the FIFPL must be days that the ANDPC has not funded.

I am not eligible for the DPC: what are the alternatives?

ANDPC funding is reserved for self-employed practitioners working under the national health insurance agreement and for employees of contracted health centres. If you are not eligible, the FIFPL (for self-employed practitioners) or direct purchase remain available across the whole catalogue: direct purchase gives immediate access and is deductible as a professional expense.
