In July 2026, Physio Learning: a Qualiopi-certified training provider, DPC provider no. 99GX: offers 8 courses in pelvic and perineal rehabilitation: postnatal care, prolapse, endometriosis, anorectal disorders, pelvic pain and sexual health. They are open to physiotherapists and midwives, on-site (590 € incl. VAT for the 2 days on the sessions listed) or online (449 € incl. VAT for endometriosis). Depending on the course page, funding comes through the DPC, the FIFPL or direct purchase: the DPC being the French three-yearly continuing professional development obligation, and the FIFPL the training fund for self-employed professionals.

Pelvic floor rehabilitation concerns patients of every age: women and men alike: the postnatal period, stress urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, anorectal disorders. For these frequent and often taboo presenting complaints, demand for care outstrips the number of trained practitioners, and the field is moving fast: the management of the postnatal period, of prolapse and of endometriosis has been thoroughly reshaped in recent years.
Training in pelvic health means acquiring clinical reasoning and tools that apply directly in practice. Physiotherapists and midwives, side by side
Physio Learning’s pelvic health courses are officially open to midwives as well as to physiotherapists (July 2026). Two professions, the same patients: you follow the same course, with the same instructors, the same clinical cases and the same certificate at the end, and you leave with a shared language for referring and jointly following up your patients.
Pelvic health, a recognised field of practice
“Rééducation en pelvi-périnéologie” (pelvic and perineal rehabilitation) is one of the fields of practice, spécificités d’exercice, recognised by the Conseil national de l’Ordre des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes, the French physiotherapy regulator (opinion of 30 March 2021 on fields of practice).
Training regularly in this field means building up, course after course, your hours in that field of practice. The Physio Learning app records those hours in your skills web, area by area, as each course is validated.
How a field of practice comes to be recognised is a matter for the Ordre des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes.

At your own pace
Endometriosis, anorectal disorders, sexology: the pathway’s online courses are available around the clock, with unlimited access over time, updates included. Ideal for building your theoretical grounding without blocking out clinic days. Worth knowing: the FIFPL caps funding for e-learning at 50% of its usual criteria (see below).
Hands-on practice, among peers
In pelvic health, technique matters: on-site sessions (2 days, small groups) give ample room to supervised practice and to sharing clinical experience: postnatal care, prolapse, endometriosis, anorectal work. Dates and towns are given on each course page in the catalogue.

Fees covered and compensation paid
For physiotherapists in private practice working under the French national health insurance agreement, the ANDPC: the national agency for the DPC: covers the course fees of eligible programmes and pays 38 €/h for on-site courses or virtual classrooms, within an annual entitlement of 14 h, that is, up to 532 € of compensation a year (2026 physiotherapist rates, agencedpc.fr).
For continuing-education e-learning, course fees are still covered, but with no compensation. The DPC is also the scheme that validates your three-yearly obligation (the 2026-2028 period is under way).
For practitioners in private practice
In 2026, funding for physiotherapists in private practice (NAF code 8690E) is capped at 300 € per day and 900 € per year; for e-learning courses, these caps are halved (2026 criteria, fifpl.fr).
The application is filed online no later than 10 calendar days after the first day of the course (service-public.gouv.fr). Only Qualiopi-certified training providers are eligible: we are one.
Simple and immediate
With no funding application to file, booking directly gives immediate access to the course: the only option on some e-learning course pages. For practitioners in private practice, the cost is deductible as a professional expense.

Is the course open to midwives?
Yes. Since July 2026, Physio Learning’s pelvic health courses have been officially open to midwives, online as well as on-site. You follow the same course as physiotherapists (the same instructors, the same clinical cases) and receive the same certificate at the end.
What funding is available to a midwife?
The amounts given on this page apply to physiotherapists. The FIFPL also covers midwives in private practice, but under criteria and caps specific to their profession: check the “sages-femmes” page on fifpl.fr before booking. The same goes for the DPC, whose rates are set profession by profession on agencedpc.fr. Direct purchase remains possible in every case.
What are the 2026 FIFPL amounts for a physiotherapist in private practice?
Funding is capped at 300 € per day and 900 € per year per professional (2026 FIFPL criteria for physiotherapists). For e-learning courses, these caps are halved. The application must be filed online no later than 10 calendar days after the first day of the course.
Does the DPC pay compensation for these courses?
For eligible programmes (flagged on each course page) and for physiotherapists in private practice working under the French national health insurance agreement: yes. The ANDPC covers the course fees and pays 38 €/h of compensation for on-site courses or virtual classrooms, within a limit of 14 h per year (2026 rates). For continuing-education e-learning, fees are covered but no compensation is paid. Practitioners outside the national agreement and most salaried practitioners are not eligible for ANDPC funding.
Can the DPC and the FIFPL be combined in the same year?
Yes, the two budgets are independent and many practitioners in private practice use both in the same calendar year. A single training day, however, cannot be funded twice: days covered by the FIFPL must be days that are not funded by the ANDPC.
E-learning or on-site: which to choose in pelvic health?
The two complement each other. On-site courses (2 days in a small group) favour supervised practice and exchanges between peers: valuable in a field where technique and the therapeutic relationship both count. E-learning lets you build your theoretical grounding at your own pace, with unlimited access. Endometriosis is in fact available in both formats; compare them on the pathway page.
