Why this course?

A complete, EBP approach to mastering hand and wrist management in the clinic, from the diagnostic assessment to the right intervention.

La formation en situation

From the diagnostic assessment to the right intervention.

The hand and wrist are complex structures whose rehabilitation calls for specific skills. Between traumatic and degenerative conditions and post-surgical cases, the clinical situations are many .

This course will teach you to carry out a complete diagnostic assessment , to understand medical and surgical treatments, and to offer rehabilitation that is tailored and evidence-based.

The pairing of a specialised physiotherapist and a surgeon gives you the whole picture: from anatomy to rehabilitation, taking in splinting and patient education along the way.

A course of over 14 hours combining theory, practical demonstrations and clinical cases for optimal management of the hand.

Your practice today

  • No clear bearings when faced with hand and wrist conditions
  • Difficulty interpreting operative reports
  • One-size-fits-all rehabilitation, ill-suited to the hand
  • Little familiarity with splints and orthotic devices

After the course

  • A structured diagnostic assessment and a clinical examination you have mastered
  • An understanding of surgical procedures and how to adapt rehabilitation
  • Management tailored to each hand condition
  • Command of splinting and patient self-management
