How our content is produced: the literature our clinical summaries draw on, where the figures in our professional practice guides come from, who checks them, and what we will not publish.
This page covers our two families of content: clinical summaries on a condition or a course of treatment, and professional practice guides (fees, the French DPC continuing professional development obligation, FIF PL funding, direct access). They do not share the same sources or the same checking rules.
From indexed literature, not from blogs or second-hand content. Every statement points to its numbered reference at the end of the article, with its DOI and PubMed link where these exist, so that you can go back to the study yourself.

Cited and explicitly attributed when they exist on the subject covered, never presented as a higher level of evidence.
A reference is not kept because it supports our view: the level of evidence is stated, and a disputed finding is presented as disputed. We check the title, journal, year and authors at source before citing, precisely because a reference can be plausible and still be wrong.
Figures, fees, billing codes and dates are copied from the official texts, never from a second-hand article. Every guide links directly to its source.

Our guides are not written by web copywriters. They are written and reviewed by physiotherapists who are in practice and who teach on the subjects they cover. That is what allows us to say not only what the official text provides for, but what it changes in day-to-day practice.
