DPC for physiotherapists 2026: the complete guide

DPC for physiotherapists in 2026: hours, allowances, who is eligible and how to enrol on mondpc.fr. Everything needed to use your DPC this year.

The essentials, in 30 seconds

DPC is a regulated training scheme: the learner pays nothing, and receives an allowance on top.

3years per cycle, with at least two activities of two different types

What it is
DPC is the regulated training scheme for health professionals, run by the ANDPC.
How much
Course fees are paid directly to the provider by the ANDPC, from 28.50 to 68.40 €/h depending on the format and type of activity.
Until when
The 2023-2025 priorities have been extended until 2027: any activity already published remains valid until 31 December 2027.
What combines
DPC and FIF PL can be combined in the same calendar year, provided the funded days do not overlap.
Where to enrol
Enrolling is done only from your personal account on mondpc.fr, never through the provider or a quotation.

What follows covers each of these points in detail, with sources. It is there if you need it.

6 article chapters · 8 min in total

Chapter 1

Define1 min

DPC is both an entitlement to funding and a three-year obligation.

Funding entitlement
Each year, the ANDPC funds your activities within the limits of your entitlement.
Three-year obligation
Every three years, a DPC pathway is mandatory.
Ordre oversight
Compliance with the obligation is checked by the Ordre.
New period
The 2023-2025 period ended on 31 December 2025.
Chapter 2

The figures1 min

The entitlement is capped at 14 hours per year in 2026.

Course fees
The Agency pays the provider directly for course fees.
Annual cap
The theoretical maximum reaches 532 € per year: 14 h at 38 €/h.
Free of charge
Within the limits of the entitlement, the learner does not pay for the course.
Chapter 3

Enrolling1 min

Enrolling is done only on your personal mondpc.fr account.

Account eligibility
The mode of practice entered directly determines eligibility.
Finding the activity
An activity is found by provider name or by its 11-digit reference.
Checking the session
In the Liste sessions tab, check the dates and format before enrolling.
Chapter 4

Planning1 min

The simplest approach: alternate continuing education and EPP/risk management from one year to the next.

Priorities extended
The 2023-2025 priorities have simply been extended, not replaced.
Valid until 2027
Activities already published remain valid until 31 December 2027.
Cap reached
Once the hours are used up, only EPP or risk management activities remain accessible.
Chapter 5

Combining with FIFPL1 min

DPC and FIF PL can be combined in the same year, under one specific condition.

FIFPL cap
FIF PL funds up to 900 € per year of course fees.
No double-funded days
The same day cannot be funded twice: FIF PL and ANDPC are mutually exclusive.
Chapter 6

In practice3 min

A physio's annual entitlement is 14 hours of DPC in 2026.

Hourly rate
The allowance reaches 38 € per hour on site or in the virtual classroom.

📝 In brief

  • In 2026, every eligible physiotherapist has an entitlement of 14 funded DPC hours per year agencedpc.fr.
  • Within that limit, the ANDPC pays the course fees directly to the provider, you do not pay for the course, and gives you an allowance of 38 €/h on site and in the virtual classroom agencedpc.fr. By e-learning, continuing education carries no allowance; EPP and risk management do, at 19 €/h agencedpc.fr.
  • ANDPC funding is reserved for physiotherapists who are self-employed under the state health agreement and for employees of health centres under that agreement agencedpc.fr.
  • The DPC is also a regulatory obligation: over each 3-year period, at least 2 activities of 2 different types, checked by the professional body agencedpc.fr. The current period runs from 2026 to 2028 formasante.fr.

🎯 What is the DPC, and what does it commit you to?

The DPC (Développement Professionnel Continu, continuing professional development) is the regulated training scheme for health professionals in France, run by the national DPC agency (ANDPC). For a physiotherapist it covers two complementary things:

  • An entitlement: each year, the ANDPC funds your DPC activities within the limits of your entitlement: course fees paid to the provider and an allowance for lost earnings agencedpc.fr.
  • An obligation: over each 3-year period, every health professional must follow a DPC pathway combining continuing education, professional practice evaluation (EPP) and/or risk management (GDR), with at least 2 activities of 2 different types agencedpc.fr. For physiotherapists, compliance is checked by the professional body (CNOMK) agencedpc.fr.

The 2023-2025 three-year period ended on 31 December 2025: the current period runs from 2026-2028, and the counters were reset to zero on 1st January 2026 formasante.fr.

✅ Who is eligible for ANDPC funding?

Mind the distinction: the DPC obligation applies to all physiotherapists agencedpc.fr, but funding from the ANDPC depends on how you practise agencedpc.fr :

How you practise2026 ANDPC funding
Self-employed under the state health agreement✔️ Yes agencedpc.fr
Employee of a health centre under that agreement✔️ Yes agencedpc.fr
Self-employed outside the agreement✖️ No agencedpc.fr
Other employees✖️ No (funding through the employer or other schemes) agencedpc.fr

Worth knowing if you combine roles: a professional is eligible as soon as one of their ways of practising is agencedpc.fr.

💶 What the ANDPC funds in 2026

Funding has two parts agencedpc.fr: the Agency’s contribution to paying the provider delivering the activity (course fees), and your allowance for lost earnings during the course: all within the limits of your entitlement of 14 hours per year in 2026 agencedpc.fr.

🖱️ Enrolling step by step on mondpc.fr (screenshots)

Enrolling in a DPC activity goes neither through the provider nor through a quotation: everything happens from your personal account on mondpc.fr, the Agency’s « Professionnels de santé » area. Here is the process in 4 steps.

  1. Create your account (or sign in) on mondpc.fr: enter your profession and how you practise: this is what determines your eligibility for funding agencedpc.fr, along with your bank details so the allowance can be paid.
  2. Open the « Inscription » menu, then « Rechercher une action / S'inscrire » (screenshot below).
  3. Search for the activity: by provider name (for example « physio-learning ») or by its 11-digit reference. Physio Learning activities carry our DPC provider reference, no. 99GX.
  4. Open the activity’s detail page, « Liste sessions » tab, check the dates and the format, then click « S'inscrire ». Attend the course: the allowance is then paid by the Agency once your attendance has been confirmed.

Step 1: The « Inscription » menu of your account

DPC enrolment step 1 — screenshot of the mondpc.fr account

From your account, the « Inscription » menu gives access to « Rechercher une action / S'inscrire ». The page sets out the principle of the entitlement: the Agency’s contribution to paying the provider + an allowance for lost earnings.

Step 2: Search for an activity

DPC enrolment step 2 — screenshot of the mondpc.fr account

Searching by provider name: activities appear with their reference (99GX…), their type (continuing education, EPP…), their format and their duration.

Step 3: Choose your session and enrol

The « Liste sessions » tab shows the dates and the split between on-site, virtual classroom and remote study for each session: click « S'inscrire » to confirm.

🧭 National priorities and the three-year pathway

DPC activities fall within national priorities. Good news for the clarity of your choices: the 2023-2025 priorities have been extended, by the order of 23 June 2025 (Official Journal of 28 June 2025) for 2026, then by the order of 3 June 2026 (Official Journal of 6 June 2026) for 2027, and all activities already published remain valid until 31 December 2027 agencedpc.fr.

Also worth noting: once your three-yearly cap on hours is reached, you can only enrol in EPP, risk management or integrated programme activities agencedpc.fr: one more reason to vary the types of activity.

How to plan your 2026-2028 cycle: with 14 h funded per year agencedpc.fr and an obligation of at least 2 activities of 2 different types over the period agencedpc.fr, the simplest approach is to combine a continuing education course one year and an EPP or risk management activity another year, without waiting for 2028.

🔄 DPC and FIF PL: two routes that combine

The DPC is not your only training budget: as a self-employed professional, you also contribute to the FIF PL, which can fund up to 900 € per year of course fees fifpl.fr. The two schemes can be combined in the same calendar year, on one condition: the days funded by the FIF PL must be days not funded by the ANDPC fifpl.fr.

Who is eligible for ANDPC funding?

Self-employed physiotherapists working under the state health agreement and employees of health centres under that agreement. The current period runs from 2026 to 2028 formasante.fr.

Can DPC and FIF PL be combined in the same year?

Yes, the two routes are independent and can be combined in the same calendar year. The same course day cannot, however, be funded twice: the days funded by the FIF PL must be days not funded by the ANDPC fifpl.fr.
